Brisbane Electrical Contractors and Engineering is a Queensland based electrical contractor that delivers complex, high compliance infrastructure. Our work supports community services and industry, with a particular strength in water and wastewater. We bring together experienced tradespeople, project managers, designers and fabricators so that planning, manufacturing, installation and commissioning are coordinated and accountable from start to finish.


We are hands on and detail focused. Our approach is practical and straightforward, which is why councils, utilities, engineering partners and builders trust us with assets that must operate safely and reliably for many years.

Our Services

Electrical infrastructure

High capacity power reticulation, sub mains and control cabling for plants, pump stations and processing facilities. Trenching, conduit installation, earthing systems and surge protection. Switchroom and substation interfaces. Work delivered to Australian Standards and client specifications.


Industrial and commercial installations

Electrical works for industrial facilities and commercial buildings. Power, lighting and control systems. Upgrades to legacy systems. Works staged to protect operations and public access where required.


Switchboard design and manufacture

Custom main switchboards, motor control centres and distribution boards that meet AS/NZS61439. Designs prepared in house, built in our workshop and verified through inspection and testing. Switchboard Designs are verified and tested in Aluminium IP rated to 50kA 1600Amps.  Powder coated finishes and stainless options available.


Automation and control systems

PLC, HMI and SCADA integration for process and building control. Remote telemetry and site wide automation. Programming, troubleshooting and commissioning with records that support long term maintenance.

Service and maintenance

Preventative and corrective maintenance for councils, utilities and private operators. Routine inspections and testing, defect rectification and after hours fault response. Pragmatic advice that protects uptime and extends asset life.


Design and drafting

Single line diagrams, schematics, layouts and installation details. As constructed drawing sets and compliance documents. Coordination with client models and consultant drawings. Clear documentation that makes installation and maintenance straightforward.


Fabrication and powder coating

Aluminium, Steel and stainless steel Switchboards, frames, platforms and enclosures. In house powder coating for durable finishes that suit harsh environments. Fabrication of custom supports and brackets to suit site conditions.


Structured cabling and communications

Voice, data and fibre systems. Patch panels, backbone cabling and rack builds. Integration with control systems and site networks. Testing and labelling for future service.

The business is led by people who have spent their careers on real sites, solving real problems. We understand delivery pressures, outages and shutdown requirements, and the importance of achieving compliance first time. Our teams work across South East Queensland and regional centres, adapting to live environments, public locations and flood prone sites.
